How this list is made

We scanned every post and comment in eight trading subreddits (r/algotrading, r/quant, r/quantfinance, r/options, r/thetagang, r/Daytrading, r/FuturesTrading, r/RealDayTrading) and Quant StackExchange for YouTube links. A language model read each comment and decided whether the person was genuinely recommending the video, just citing it, joking, criticising it, or promoting their own channel.

A video makes the list when at least two different people recommended it in at least two different months. It ranks higher the more months new people kept recommending it, the more communities agree, and lower when people warn against it. Self-promotion never counts, and hype-driven channels are discounted.

Quotes link back to the original discussion. Nothing here is financial advice.
